Court

(ST EDIT) On the Night of November First, In the Orlando Science Center.......

Having not met many of the Central Florida Kindred, Kahn had no idea what to expect of the coming meeting and wondered weather he would be missed if he decided to sit it out and explore his hunting grounds a little more. But his sire had impressed upon him, with almost violent expression, the importance of keeping to the city's rules and appointments.

Kahn approched the O.S.C with apprehension, this was his first week in Florida by himself, yet alone his first court attendance.

He cleared his throat (a fetter of his recently passed mortality) and walked confidently toward the doors...

As you approach the door the lesser UNKNOWN beasts of two stand dressed in all white with thier faces covered by masks of the dead. One opens the door and the other walks inside with you. You are escorted to a large auditorium that has been decorated wtih various saints.....of Central Florida's Kindred Past. Many of the Invictus and Sanctified Princes, Seneschal and even some Sheriffs are portrayed in beautiful oils, charcoals, and even some watercolors. Thier is a section of other paintings that seem somehow darker in comparison to the love tha is shown to those that built the Kindred Society here in Central Florida.

Sienna walked up the path and felt the extremly small beasts and followed as she was escorted to the room for the court. As she walked in she noted that one of the other Barons was here looking around. She ignored the pompus show of respect to the ones who failed the area in the past and took her seat on the lower floor below the Prince Throne. She hated these things but the Prince hadn't called one in almost a year so it was close to time. She guessed.

Melissa stepped into the O.S.C again, taking note of the dress the guards are in as they lead her to the auditorium. She feels a little self-conscious as this is her first court she's attending without her sire with her.

As she steps in the auditorium she examines the paintings of the Kindred from the past. The numerous Invictus and Lancea Sanctum paintings are what stand out for her the most. She's beginning to understand more of perhaps why there isn't a group of Acolytes in the city, if there were, what would be their chances of survival?

She turns her attention away from the paintings and searches for an appropriate place to sit until the others arrive.

After having a confusing night Vince arrives, by himself, to the O.S.C.

With a bit of doubt he walks upp to the doors and enters.
As he steps through the doors he puts on a mask of confidence and tries to relax and look like he knows what he's up to.

He nods a greeting as he steps past the guards and into the room.

He recognizes Asriel and walks over to her.

"Franks bloody dissappered! WhatHelp me, what do I do now?"
He whispers to her.

Seating himself toward the front on the audtorium, Kahn was curious to hear what issues the Prince felt were so important. Being new to the City, he was thirsty for information and news on the local Kindred and their Politics.

After all he would be spending a portion of his eternity here...may as well get comfortable.

Rhayna walks into court and looks around to see who was in attendance. Finding a seat near the front of the room she settles back in her seat and waits for the evening to begin.

Rahyna had been long gone from the city and very few faces were familure to her so she sat in her seat and tried to figure out a way to regain what little stature she had before leaving with her museum in shambles and every where else she had been in disaray as well she felt as though she had to start over again.

"He didn't come by as he said he would and his phone is off. His house seems abandoned and his gatecode is changed. I went over the gate to check. Yeah, I know. Bad choice. Anyways, the cops came around in about three seconds. Coast clear and then bam! they're up right behind me!"
Vincent blurrs all of this out in a whisper.

He then leans back a little and looks about.

"So... Frank said it means trouble to miss these things so I went here. And now I'm completely clueless."

Melissa sees Sienna sitting down in front of the Prince's throne and decides not to approach her, she doesn't seem too thrilled to be here and Melissa also guesses that approaching the Barons is probably not the best of ideas in Court. She sits down in towards the front like all the others and waits patiently.

"Right. Okay." Vince seems a bit lost for a moment as he looks for a good seat.
"Thank you." He adds before he strolls of and sits deep in thought awaiting the court to begin.

Vince rices and looks at the assembled kindred before he looks straight at the prince.

"Sir, I am Vincent Callahan. 'Son' of Frank Anders of the Daeva clan. I would almost assume that I am the youngest member of this court as I was just recently embraced. Thus I cannot really say what my interest in your region is, as I am still trying to find my place."
As he introduces himself he stands with his hands behind his back and keeps a friendly and polite smile on his face.

Melissa paid close attention to the other Acolytes who introduced themselves and when they were finished she stood up.

"I am Melissa Watkins of the Mekhet Clan and I am bound to the Circle of the Crone"

She sat back down and waited for the next kindred to stand.

Rahyna stands head held high and cleary states "I am Rahyna of clan Daeva my aleigience falls to the Ordo Dracul." she pauses a moment "I have just returned from a two year absence and I reside in Melbourne." I think she adds to herself.

The Prince had let things settle after those that felt they needed to introduce themselves to the massess were done now came so other business. He stood and projected his voice in a steady firm but not harsh tone.

"Welcome to my Domain and your home. I hope this night finds those in attendance well. Recently some things have been happening that are not bodeing well for us, so my first thing is that by the end of this little gathering I will be asking for volunteers to present themselves to any of the Barons or myself for this area needs some positions filled. We need a Sheriff, those that want the job need only accept the challange that is laying out thier waiting on you.

What is this challange you ask, well that is our second order of business. It seems that one of our members stepped where they were not wanted and unvailed a small batch of trouble in the Domain at hand. The one or ones, that finds this and brings us the problem makers will be giving the title of Sheriff, if they have help those others may be appointed as Hounds of the Baronies by the barons. What happened? Good question, Frank Anders has been slain. A note was sent back to us, siigmed BB. All we have been able to asertain at this time is that he was out looking for something for somebody he cared about when he was attacked. They are arrogant enough to think we will roll over because they sent us his ring and a note telling us to stay away....."

As the Prince spoke of Frank Raven moved down to his childe and waited to see what he would do.

~~NARRATION~~

Just then one of the doors at the back of the room burst open and in ran a Kindred...smoldering...he made it down the Isle to the Prince and collapsed he looked up to those closets and whispered something.....then in a flash Orange and Purple flames erupted from him and as sudden as the came they were gone and so was his entire being, clothes and all.

((Need everyone to PM me a Wits + Composure - 3, No roll for the fire it was to sudden everyone did the quick start but it was gone before it effected anything else.))

As the prince starts speaking of one of the kindred having an accident when going were he wasn't wanted, Vinces' expression goes cold and his jaw clenches. Then when the Prince outright says that Frank has been slain Vince bursts from his seat.

"What the fuck?!"
"Who the he..."
In the middle of a sentance he remembers where he is and regains his composure.
